   Physical Therapy services are an important part of the range of services offered by Hansford County Hospital District.  Physical Therapists work with people of all ages in preventing injuries and in restoring function following illnesses or injuries.

Our comprehensive outpatient services include:

  • Orthopedic conditions (i.e., joint replacements, spine, musculoskeletal)
  • Neurological rehabilitation (i.e., stroke, head injuries, multiple sclerosis, muscular dystrophy)
  • Vestibular and balance therapy
  • Modalities (i.e., hydrotherapy, heat, ice, ultrasound, massage, electrical stimulation)
  • Wound care
  • Patient and family education
  • Home health physical therapy through Hansford Home Care Agency

Your physician can discuss the benefits of physical therapy with you.  Bring the physician's order with you to the Physical Therapy Department, or call for an appointment.  A complete evaluation will be performed and and individual treatment plan will be designed for you.

You do not have to travel out of town to receive quality Physical Therapy services.  You have the right to request the facility of your choice for care.  Please consider Hansford County Hospital District for your physical therapy needs.
