JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position serves to enhance the value differentiation of HCHD by providing health care services to patients under direction and responsibility of a District Physician by performing the essential duties of a Physician Assistant / Nurse Practitioner

  • Working hours: Tuesday – Friday 
  • Saturday: half day
  • A minimum of one night ER call

 

  

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Certified PA / Certified NP must be from a accredited College or University.  Licensed in the State of Texas.

JOB DESCRIPTION:
This position serves to enhance the value differentiation of HCHD by providing direct nursing care to the residents, and to supervise the day-to-day nursing activities preformed by nursing assistants.  Such supervision must be in accordance with current federal, state, and local standards, guidelines, and regulations that govern our facility, and as may be required by the DON Services or Nurse Supervisor to ensure that the highest degree of quality care is maintained at all times.


 

  

EDUCATIONAL & EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENTS:
Must posses, as a minimum, a Nursing Degree from an accredited college or university, or be a graduate of an approved LPN/LVN program.  Must be able to read, write, speak and understand the English language. Must be able to make independent decisions when circumstances warrant. Must posses the ability to deal tactfully with residents, family and public.  Must be able to relate information concerning a resident's condition.
